Mark has had a lifetime of involvement within the New Zealand farming sector. Raised on a Northland dairy farm Mark has a detailed understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in all aspects of dairy farming, including large scale dairying.
During the early 1980’s Mark completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree and subsequently worked with the NZ Dairy Board providing operational advice to farmers to assist them in driving top line growth while preserving gross margin. In the late 1990’s Mark established Robinson Consultancy which today oversees in excess of 7,000 ha of dairy land primarily within the Waikato region.
He is passionate about the dairy sector and regularly contributes at industry forums. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management and is a founding director of Kauri.
