Peter Clarke has over 45 years’ experience within the agricultural and property sectors. He is a fellow of the Royal Institute of Agricultural Valuers and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Originally from England, Peter has an association with New Zealand dating back to the 1960’s where he worked in Wellington for Wright Stephenson & Co prior to his return to the UK. He was one of three Partners of Palmer Snell (Palmer Snell was established in 1811 and is one of the largest advisory and agency businesses in the South of England) prior to the sale of the business to London and Manchester and subsequently Countrywide Plc.
Peter remained with the company as Chairman of the Board with responsibility for a number of property brands including Palmer Snell prior to his retirement from his executive role. He has a deep interest in the rural and investment sectors and was as a founding director of a significant British property fund which has provided up to a 500% return on capital to investors through its acquisition of approximately 250 properties located in the South of England.
Peter brings a wealth of corporate and hands on experience to Kauri in his role as Chairman of the Board.
